Getting Started

Welcome to Run It Off! Here's how to get started:

Create an account - Sign up with your email or use Apple/Google sign-in
Enter your weight - This helps us calculate accurate calorie burn for your runs
Log your first drink - Tap the + button and select your drink type. Watch your "debt" increase!
Go for a run - Log your run manually, or connect Apple Health/Health Connect to sync automatically
Clear your debt - Your running distance reduces your drink debt. Hit zero to start fresh!

Connecting Health Apps

For iPhone (Apple Health):

Open Run It Off and go to Settings
Tap "Connect Apple Health"
Allow Run It Off to read your workout data
Your runs will now sync automatically!

For Android (Health Connect):

Make sure Health Connect is installed from the Play Store
Open Run It Off and go to Settings
Tap "Connect Health Connect"
Grant permission to read exercise data

Note: Health app sync requires a Premium subscription.

Unlimited History - View all your past drinks and runs (free tier shows last 7 days)
Health App Sync - Automatic run tracking from Apple Health or Health Connect

Managing Your Account

To delete your account:

Open the app and go to Settings
Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
Confirm the deletion

This permanently removes all your data from our servers including drink logs, run history, and profile information.

To cancel your subscription:

iPhone: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Run It Off → Cancel
Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Run It Off → Cancel

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Run It Off calculate my running debt?

We convert the calories from your drinks into running distance based on your body weight. The formula uses standard calorie burn rates for running. It's an estimate designed to give you a fun, motivating target - not medical advice.

How do I connect Apple Health or Health Connect?

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Connect Health". You'll be asked to grant permission to read your workout data. Once connected, your runs will automatically sync and reduce your debt. This feature requires Premium.

Can I use the app for free?

Yes! The core features - logging drinks, tracking your debt, and manually logging runs - are free forever. Premium unlocks unlimited history, health app sync, achievements, custom drinks, and more.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Go to your device's subscription settings to manage or cancel your subscription.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the Settings page in the app. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account". This will permanently remove all your data from our servers.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. Your data is stored securely and we never sell your personal information. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

Why aren't my runs syncing from Apple Health?

Make sure you've granted Run It Off permission to read workout data in your device's Health settings. Also ensure you have an active Premium subscription. If issues persist, try disconnecting and reconnecting Health in the app settings.

Can I restore my purchases on a new device?

Yes! Simply sign in with your account on the new device. If you have a subscription, go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases" to restore your Premium access.
